For over seventy years, Ridgefield and Caudatowa Garden Clubs have joined forces to run a May Plant Sale.  Since the early 1970's, the sale has been held at Ballard Greenhouse, next to Ballard Park.  Seed sowing and perennial growing begin in early March.  By mid-April, Ballard Greenhouse is a hive of activity, with volunteers preparing vegetables, tomatoes, herbs, perennials, annuals, gift baskets and proven plants from members' gardens for sale.

The 2025 Plant Sale will be held ​​Friday, May 9th and Saturday, May 10th, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
