The Pollinator Pathway

The Ridgefield Garden Club is proud to be a part of the Pollinator Pathway in our community and to support its success and expansion.

On Earth Day, 2018, volunteers from community groups, families and youth organizations came together in Ridgefield to create a pesticide-free, contiguous corridor of pollinator friendly native plantings in public and private spaces. From museums to backyards, we dug, prepared soil and laid out pots for planting.  The results have been amazing. Since its beginnings, the Pathway has broadened its reach to multiple towns and states, with more to come.

The Pollinator Pathway provides paths of native plants that are best suited to feed pollinating insects, helping them to continue on their journeys, supporting our ecosystems and food supply.

Interested in learning more about why native plants and pollinators are so important to human well being?  Or in putting your own community or home on the Pollinator Pathway?  We're on the front lines & happy to help!  Click the button below to learn more, or contact us & someone will get back to you.
